3. On July 4th, the Mountaineers and their opponents from great Britain had some time to kill during a 2 hour rain delay. They decided to try some other sports. The Brits however, stole the show with their version of human bowling.
2. Lake Monsters infielder Christopher Bostick hit a 2-out 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 10 inning Saturday night giving the Monsters a 4-2 win over State College. It's the first Lake Monsters walk off homerun since 2008.
1. Emily Packard makes history Thursday night at Thunder Road. A week after flipping her car and two days after blowing out her motor, Packard won the street stocks feature. The East Montpelier native is the first female in a decade to take the checkered flag in Barre and takes our top spot in the three on three.
