JOHNSON, Vt. -
Court records indicate police have a suspect in a fatal hit and run accident last month in Johnson.
Ronald Turgeon, 56, of Berlin, N.H., was killed when his motorcycle was struck from behind on Route 15 and runover by a green Subaru Legacy.
According to search warrant documents filed by the Lamoille County sheriff's department, the car belongs to Benjamin Miller, 18.
Arthur Miller, 17, who was a passenger in the car, told investigators they were "huffing" chemical fumes, which caused Benjamin Miller to black out and accelerate, running into Turgeon's motorcycle. Deputies say a search of the car turned up evidence of the "huffing" and the collision. So far no arrests have been made.
