The Vergennes Bombers play in a five team minors division of the Vergennes Area Youth League. The players all hail from Ferrisburgh and range in age from 6 to 9 years old. They finished the season without a loss, 10-0-1

Xavier, 7 years old:  Is it really fun compared to your first day of T-Ball?

Nate Eppley, Pitcher:  It's always fun. It's always a great time to come out to the park and play baseball everyday.

Adam, 8 years old: What is the furthest homerun ever hit at your field?

Bruce Bosley, Statistician/Scorer:  There's been many homeruns hit at Centennial field over its 5 years of existence. As far as the Lake Monsters go, there was a guy when they were the Expos, an outfielder named Valentino Pascucci who hit a grand slam over the old football and soccer press box in center field.

Adam, 9 years old: What was your favorite position is college?

Chad Lewis, Infielder:  I didn't play college ball, but I did play high school ball and my favorite position is first base.  I played third also, but both are very good positions.
