Some scientists wish they had a time machine to go back and see what weather was like thousands of years ago. But they can do the next best thing-- study the glaciers that trapped evidence back in time.
University of Vermont geology professor Paul Bierman and graduate student Alice Nelson did just that-- they traveled to Greenland last month to look in the ancient ice and sediment for hints of how fast the global climate is changing. Watch the video for more.
