BURLINGTON, Vt. -
The University of Vermont has just completed its most successful year of fundraising in school history.
In the fiscal year that ended June 30, the school says private gift commitments totaled over $45 million from more than 20,000 donors.
The record total comes just six months after the launch of the UVM Foundation-- the school's new fundraising arm. The foundation was set up to more aggressively seek out donations and build a supplemental endowment for the school.
