PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
A stickup at a pharmacy in Plattsburgh Tuesday.
Police say around 2:30 p.m., a man walked into the Walgreens on Route 3 and gave the clerk a note claiming he had a knife and demanding prescription drugs.
The suspect is described as a thin, white man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6' tall, with a goatee. He was wearing sunglasses with a dark knit hat and a gray, hooded sweatshirt with a white square pattern on it. He fled on foot.
Police say the robber got away with a significant amount of oxycodone-- with an estimated street value of $30,000.
He's considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call Plattsburgh City Police at 518-563-3411.
