Attempted murder in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. -

A Springfield, Vt., man is in custody charged with second-degree attempted murder.

A news release from the Springfield Police department late Tuesday night, says they arrested Terrick Craft, 28, following reports of shots fired Monday night.

The incident allegedly occurred near Park and Main streets. Craft is also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and reckless endangerment.

Craft is scheduled to be arraigned in Vermont Superior Court Wednesday. Messages left by WCAX News reporters Monday night regarding the incident still had not been returned when this story was published.
