A Plattsburgh man will serve 14 years behind bars after beating a romantic rival with a crowbar last year.
According to the Plattsburgh Press-Republican, Daniel DeCarlo, 29, admitted Wednesday he tried to kill Jeffrey Durant, 32, who was dating DeCarlo's ex-girlfriend at the time of the attack.
He pled guilty to second-degree attempted murder, first-degree gang assault, first-degree assault and first-degree burglary.
