Norwich's Andrew Wheating is in England preparing for his second Olympics. Wheating will be competing in the 1500 meters. Opening heats are on Friday, August 3rd. It took Wheating a lot of hard work to recover from injuries to get back to this point, but he's got a lot more to go in a little bit of time. While the games are in London, Wheating will be training in Manchester, England. Wheating says he wants to be away from the action and joining other athletes in Manchester working their hardest will help push him.
