BENNINGTON, Vt. -
A Vermonter is vying for a half million dollars on the new season of "Big Brother" that debuted Thursday night.
A dozen contestants live together in a house and every move is recorded. The reality show has a big following each summer, and the contest lasts about three months. This season, Shane Meaney, 26, of Bennington, is one of the contestants.
He renovates and sells homes for a living and is a graduate of Lyndon State.
Shane is also a fitness model and trainer. "Big Brother" airs every Thursday night on CBS.
