Thief hits South Burlington construction sites

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

South Burlington police are trying to track down a thief they say has hit several construction sites.

Police say the man captured in surveillance photos stole copper piping from a construction site on Shelburne Road June 28, and tools from another site along Shelburne Road June 22. Police say most recently, the same man hit a construction site on Joy Drive July 5 where he got away with more copper pipe.

Police say the suspect is 30-40 years old, bald and weighs over 200 lbs. If you have information, call South Burlington police at 802-846-4217.
