WASHINGTON -
A Pentagon official says to keep the
comments coming regarding the controversial F-35
jets at the Vermont Air Guard.
Originally the public comment period
was scheduled to end June 20, but now Col. Frank Freeman, a Pentagon-based
director in the Air Force, told the Burlington Free Press that the Air Force
will continue to accept additional comments from Burlington-area residents.
The comment period will now continue
until the end of August.
