BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington High Senior Steven Ushakov scored the first two goals of the game as the Vermont all stars beat New Hampshire Saturday, 5-2 at the Gutterson Fieldhouse.  It's the first time Vermont has beaten New Hampshire since 1994.   Mike Schreiner of BFA St. Albans, South Burlington's Chris Weinheimer and Stowe's Ross Mandingo added the other goals for the Green Mountain State.

Earlier in the day, Hartford High's Taylor Steadman and Lommis-Chaffee's Katie Mandingo each had 2 goals as the Vermont Girls beat New Hampshire 5-1.  Steadman was named the MVP.  Vermont improves to 7-5-3 overall in the all star hockey classic match-up.

Both the boys and girls games benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
