Woman sentenced for VA hospital attack

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -

A woman arrested for a violent attack at the VA hospital in White River Junction last year will serve no additional jail time.

Thirty-one year-old Jennifer Beidler was sentenced last week to time served and a two-year supervised release for assaulting an emergency room nurse with a scalpel.

Police say she has a history of disorderly conduct at other VA hospitals.
