Man arrested for fire truck theft

KEENE, N.H. -

A New Hampshire man is accused of stealing a fire truck in Keene.

Police say early Saturday morning, Scott Ibelle, 28, broke into the firehouse, got behind the wheel of a special operations vehicle and on the way out smashed through part of the brick entryway. He ditched it shortly after when he reportedly couldn't figure out how to turn the headlights on.

Police caught up Ibelle when he fell off a skateboard.

He is charged with drunk driving and burglary.
