BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A severe summer storm slammed our region late Tuesday afternoon.
It knocked down trees, power lines and even an outhouse in Shelburne.
Traffic lights were out on Route 7, snarling commuter traffic.
And the lights were out for at least 3,000 Vermont homes at 6 p.m. A couple hundred homes in New York were also in the dark.
