Cleanup continues from Wednesday storms

COLCHESTER, Vt. -

Cleanup continues from Wednesday night's severe storms.

Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester was one area that took a direct blow from powerful winds. Many trees were toppled or lost limbs in one of several storms that ripped through our region.

About 17,000 Green Mountain Power customers lost electricity at one point or another. Burlington Electric also had widespread outages in the city. All but a handful of customers in Vermont have their power back on.
