CHESTER, Vt. -
The Model T Fords are rolling across the region and we caught up with some in Chester.
About 200 classic cars of the Model T Ford Club International are touring Vermont this week. The tour kicked off in Rutland and will travel the southern parts of Vermont. Club members say it's nice to see the countryside and give bystanders a chance to see classic cars on the road.
"What is special about them is kind of self evident. They are old to start with. They were made to run at slower speeds. But some of them nowadays, we got ways of making them run a little faster and making them a little safer, but they are still a Model T," said Bob Mill of Missouri.
The touring will continue through southern Vermont through Friday.
