MARSHFIELD, Vt. -
A Marshfield man was killed in a crash on U.S. Route 2 Thursday afternoon.
Police say Norman Franks, 74, was headed east when he crossed the center line, crossed the oncoming lane, and then hit an embankment, flipping his car.
Franks was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
