Car crashes into South Royalton barn

SOUTH ROYALTON, Vt. -

A barn in South Royalton damaged after it was struck by a car Thursday.

According to police, the 17-year-old driver lost control of his car on South Randolph Road in South Royalton, and crashed into the barn.

The driver and his 14-year-old passenger suffered only minor injuries.

The car and the barn had major damage.

Police say neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash, but it is still under investigation.
