BURLINGTON, Vt. -

There are strong emotions around the possible arrival of the new F-35 fighter jets at the Vermont National Guard. People have raised concerns about noise, but supporters say the jets are key to the future of the base.

So what could happen if the jets don't come here? Kevin Kelley with Seven Days is looking into that issue. He appeared on The :30 to tell us what he found. Watch the video for more.
