An emergency ban on chemicals used to make designer drugs in Vermont.
Governor Shumlin announced the state passed a new health rule banning 86 ingredients used in "bath salts" and other compounds that go by names like, Final Cut and Amp.
Hospitals in our region are seeing a record number of people getting sick from using the drugs that cause hallucinations. And can lead to kidney failure and cardiac arrest.
