Deadly crash on I-91

ORLEANS, Vt. -

A deadly accident Saturday evening on Interstate 91 in the Northeast Kingdom.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. in Coventry. Police say 22-year-old Kayla Nedobity of Derby was traveling northbound when she lost control and swerved into the median, hitting several trees. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say she was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
