
After reaching a tentative contract agreement in April, Windham County educators are asking for more changes.
According to the Bennington Banner, teachers want to change contract language pertaining to professional development and time allotted for filing formal complaints.
School board members say it's outrageous the union waited this long to voice its concerns. Board members say they were prepared to implement raises, but this request will delay that process and bring them back to the negotiating table -- a place the board and the union sat deadlocked for more than a year.
