Free wifi to remain at the airport, welcome centers

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A Williston company is providing free wifi at the Burlington airport and all state welcome centers in exchange for free advertising.

Summit technologies began providing free wifi at these locations six years ago.

Due to budget constraints the state and the airport considered charging users a fee to log on.

Instead, advertisements for Summit technologies will be put up at the welcome centers and when users log on the homepage will be the summit technologies website.
