Google makes computer donation to Vt. libraries

MONTPELIER, Vt. -

A gift from Google.

The software giant will donate 100 computers and software funding to Vermont public libraries and education sites.

The donation is an extension of the e-Vermont community broadband program.

The department of libraries will collaborate with Vermont state colleges and the Community College of Vermont to provide free digital literacy training at each site.
