Fla. man injured in Motorcyle accident

ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. -

A Florida man is in the hospital after a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon.

It happened around 1p.m. on Route 5 just south of the state police barracks in St. Johnsbury. Police say Gerard Lajeunesse of Florida failed to negotiate a curve and hit a section of steel guardrail. The 60-year-old was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock with severe head and chest injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
