Every time you swipe your credit card, someone is paying a fee. For U.S. retailers those fees added up to 30-billion dollars last year and for shoppers it was close to $400 per household. Just last week retailers reached an antitrust settlement that some say might be good for merchants but might penalize cardholders.
Gina Bullard spoke with Tasha Wallis from the Vermont Retailers Association and Kathy Miller from the Elmore Store about these credit card woes.
