ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. -
Police in St. Johnsbury credit an alert Dunkin Donuts patron with protecting a baby.
A concerned citizen called officers 9:30 a.m. Monday morning after seeing 21-year-old Joanne Way stumble outside the donut shop and almost drop a baby. Police arrested Way on suspicion of DUI, but say she became aggressive and tried to kick an officer in the face and kick out windows in the cruiser.
Way faces several charges, including child endangerment.
