Fugitive from Vt back in custody in the state

BARRE, Vt. -

A fugitive from Vermont is back in custody after he was caught on the other side of the country.

Police say Lee Bradeen fled the state in 2005 after an arrest warrant was issued for an alleged sexual assault on a minor back in 2004.

In early May, Washington County police received a tip with Bradeen's location. U.S. Marshals then found the 27-year-old former Barre resident living in Portland, Ore.

Bradeen was sent back to Vermont and will be in court Tuesday afternoon.
