LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -
Drivers who rely on Route 86 between Lake Placid and Wilmington are facing some headaches.
Twelve miles of repair work on the road will start Wednesday. Work will go from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Crews are taking off asphalt and repaving. One lane will be closed at a time.
The project is expected to be done by mid-September.
