LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. -
A New York man wasn't dead-- just very drunk.
Monday afternoon police in Lake George got a report of a man slumped over the wheel of a parked car in a motel parking lot who appeared to be deceased.
When officers arrived they found the car locked, and when the man wouldn't stir, they broke a window.
That was when they discovered Edward Mason was alive, but very drunk with a blood alcohol content more than triple the legal limit.
The 55-year-old Westport man was charged with aggravated DWI.
