Cattle rustling in the Northeast Kingdom

A modern day case of cattle rustling...

Police say three calves were stolen from a property on Derby Gore Road in Morgan overnight.

One of the calves is a 2-and-a-half-month-old Hereford heifer with a yellow number 40 tag in its ear. Another was a Hereford bull the same age with a number 41 attached to its ear. A 3-week-old Holstein bull was also taken. It did not have an ear tag.

Anyone with information should call Vermont State Police in Derby at 802-334-8881.
