Gas station owner's effort to keep out the competition

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A gas station owner has taken a unique approach to keeping competition at bay. Skip Vallee bought Tim's convenience store in Marshfield, but then also bought a closed store about a mile or so away in Plainfield and is reselling it with the stipulation that it not become a gas station. The move has stirred debate.
