WILLIAMSTOWN, Vt. (AP) - A man and a woman face arson charges in Vermont for allegedly setting multiple fires inside and outside a vacant house.

State police say firefighters responded to a report of a trash can fire shortly before midnight Wednesday at a residence on Route 14 in Williamstown. When firefighters arrived, they discovered several fires inside and outside the residence.

The fires were quickly put out, with the residence sustaining minimal damage. Nobody was injured.

Fire investigators determined the blazes were intentionally set and charged 18-year-old Jessica Delary and 23-year-old Bryan Palmer Jr., of Williamstown, with first-degree arson.
