NORTH CLARENDON, Vt. -
The Spring Hill Horse Rescue is a haven for horses, and other farm animals that need to be rehabilitated and find new homes.
Deborah Loring and Peggy Murray from the organization appeared on the Channel 3 Morning News to talk about their mission, recovering from Irene damage, and their upcoming benefit.
A benefit is scheduled for Aug. 4 at the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show in Dorset. The fundraiser begins at 5 p.m. in the Grand Prix Pavilion. Tickets are not required, but there is a $7 entry fee at the gate of show grounds if arriving before 3 p.m. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the rescue.
