File photoBURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Street performers from around the world are taking part in Burlington's fifth annual Festival of Fools next weekend.
Organizers say the event includes circus arts, music and comedy for family audiences. Street performances will take place on the Church Street Marketplace and in City Hall Park.
The event kicks off Thursday night with a showing of the Charlie Chaplin film "The Circus in City Hall Park." Street performances will take place Friday through Sunday.
The festival concludes on Sunday, with a grand finale that includes all the performers.
The entertainment is free, but festival-goers may make donations to the performers.
