TUPPER LAKE, N.Y. -
Northern New York residents can now check out passes to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake at their local libraries.
The interactive museum has partnered with 33 libraries in the Clinton-Essex-Franklin County Library System to offer free passes. Each library has two of the Wild Center Discover Passes. They can be checked out for a week and are good for free admission for two adults and their dependent children.
"It allows folks who may not necessarily have the opportunity or means to come here, accessibility, so it is about giving those people a chance to come to the museum and reach a new audience," said Jen Kretser of the Wild Center.
The Wild Center hopes to add more libraries to the program in the future.
