MERIDEN, N.H. -

With four days of practice remaining, the Shrine Football teams have elected captains for the 59th Annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl.  Co-Captains for the New Hampshire team include Jerickson Fredrick from Salem, Kevin Davies from Pinkerton, Alex Morrill from Lebanon and Nicholas Dragon from Monadnock   On the other side, the Vermont Shrine team will be led by Tucker Stone from Hartford, Marshall Hastings from Middlebury, Bob Murray from Hartford and Been Thieken from Bellows Free Academy.

There are nine Hartford players on this year's Vermont roster, the most of any team.  The Hurricanes have certainly earned those spots as the team has been impressive the last two years, capturing back to back state titles.

The annual summer classic will be played this coming Saturday in Hanover on Dartmouth College's Memorial Field. Kick-off is set for 2:30 p.m.
