Mike McCune catches up with NESN Baseball analyst Jerry Remy Tuesday to talk about the moves, or lack there of, at the trade Deadline. Boston made two minor moves acquiring right-handed knuckleballer Steven Wright from the Cleveland Indians for first baseman Lars Anderson. The Sox also traded outfielder Scott Podsednik and right-hander Matt Albers to the Arizona Diamondbacks for left-hander Craig Breslow.
Despite rumors and reports, troubled Sox starter Josh Beckett was not traded Tuesday and made his scheduled start against the Tigers. A start he left in the third inning with a back spasm.
