GRAND ISLE, Vt. -
A house in Grand Isle was destroyed by fire Wednesday. Firefighters got the call at about 9 a.m.
Flames were coming through the roof of the home on Griswold Road when crews arrived on scene. By the time they got the fire under control, the home was a total loss. Damages are estimated at over $30,000.
No one was home at the time and no one was hurt, but a dog and two cats did die in the fire.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire, but it is not considered suspicious.
