Vt gas price hearing set for Monday

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee will be in Burlington Monday looking into high gas prices.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, is a member of the committee and has been questioning why Burlington-area gas stations charge more-- sometimes significantly more-- than stations in other parts of the state.

The field hearing will be at Contois Auditorium Monday at 2 p.m.
