Montpelier restaurant reopens after fire

MONTPELIER, Vt. -

A Montpelier restaurant is back open after a fire earlier this week.

Patrons were welcomed back to McGillicuddy's Irish Pub in the Onion River Sports building Wednesday.

The restaurant suffered damage from a morning oven fire on Monday. A quick response stopped that fire from doing serious damage, and most it was contained to the oven area.
