CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire's tax collections for July are starting the fiscal year off on a positive note.
Revenues are almost $8 million above expectations for the month and are $13 million higher than July 2011. Taxes on business, property sales, renting hotel rooms and restaurant meals accounted for $6 million of the extra money.
The state collected almost $100 million in July, which is a small revenue month.
