MORETOWN, Vt. -
Arson caused $450,000 in damage to a home in Moretown over the weekend.
Officials responded twice to the same house on Dean's Mountain Road late Saturday night.
During the first response, around 10:30 p.m., officials contained the fire to just a few rooms.
Shortly after crews left the scene, they were called to return, this time because the other end of the home was on fire.
Officials discovered that a propane tank had was turned on, even though they had turned it off while fighting the first fire.
The house was a total loss. If you have any information, call state police.
