Double fatal crash in North Troy

NORTH TROY, Vt. -

Two people from Jay have died after a car crash in the North East Kingdom.

The accident happened this morning on Route 105 in North Troy. According to police-- 82-year-old Edmund Moran and 76-year-old Margaret Moran, of Jay died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Police say 26-year-old Alexis Gabree of St. Albans crossed the center line in her vehicle and hit the Moran's car head-on. Gabree was treated for non-life threatening injuries. At this time police have not said WHY Gabree crossed the center line. The accident is under investigation.
