BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Burlington will be buzzing with beekeepers next week.
Honeybee researchers and experts from 26 states and Canada are meeting to talk about bees.
The Vermont Beekeepers Association and the Eastern ApiCultural Society are putting on the event. There will be workshops, lectures, vendor displays and classes.
Bill Mares is an avid beekeeper and past president of the Vermont Beekeepers Association. He appeared on the Channel 3 News at 6 p.m. to discuss the health of the Vermont honeybee population.
