NORTH HERO, Vt. -
Flooding in the Richelieu River and the Lake Champlain Basin has the Canadian government joining forces with the U.S.
The International Joint Commission is developing a study proposal which would examine the causes and impacts of flooding that occurred during the spring of 2011.
The study will develop mitigation solutions and recommendations.
There is a public meeting Tuesday night in Quebec and another Wednesday night from 7-9 p.m. at the Community Hall in North Hero.
