Posted: Updated:

QUECHEE, Vt. (AP) - Police say two Vermont men have been arrested after allegedly hosting a party that sent a 15-year-old girl to the hospital suffering from acute alcohol poisoning.

Police said the unresponsive girl was brought to the Hartford Fire Department early Sunday, then was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

The Valley News reports police learned about a house party in Quechee, where they arrested 20-year-old Thomas Taber of Fairfax and 19-year-old Michael Eldredge of Hartford on charges of marijuana possession and furnishing alcohol to minors. Fourteen teenagers were referred to an alcohol diversion program.
