Roger Pion
NEWPORT, Vt. -
The Newport man accused of crushing
seven police cruisers with a tractor has posted bail. But Roger Pion, 34, will
remain behind bars for the next 14 to 17 days. His lawyer says he's serving the
remainder of a work crew sentence stemming from a February disorderly conduct
conviction.
Tuesday, Pion pled not guilty to all
14 charges related to the alleged tractor rampage. The judge is still weighing
whether Pion's attempted aggravated assault charge should be dropped due to a
lack of evidence.
